Sound Synthesis

In Sound Synthesis, you will learn how to identify and evaluate the objective and subjective principles underlying the perception of the musical instrument. Theories on timbre analysis, the ways in which musical instruments produce sounds, synthesis techniques and musical sound synthesis based on software will be developed using both emulative and abstract approaches. Additive, subtractive and modulation synthesis will be studied together with the signal processing (effects) project.
